GOGBOT annually explores the role of current technology, with this edition titled INTERGALACTIC focusing on recent developments in space travel and astronomy, such as the discovery of more and more exoplanets, entirely new theories of gravity, the upcoming commercial space travel and journeys to Mars, trips to other stars, deep space mining, and more.++ Highlights of the exhibitions ++Other highlights include the installation COGITO by Italian artist Daniela de Paulis, which sends visitors' brain scans into space via the radio telescope in Dwingeloo.In the center of the Grote Kerk stands the bronze sculpture LEAP OF FAITH by Joseph Klibansky, a larger-than-life astronaut carrying a large golden cross. Klibansky sees space travelers as the frontier guards of a new world, guides for humanity into a yet unknown future.
