GOGBOT 2018 celebrated its 15th anniversary with the theme FUTURE FLASH 200, From Frankenstein to Hyperbrain. The festival took place from 6-9 September in Enschede.

This year, GOGBOT took us 200 years back in time to 1818, when Mary Shelley wrote her novel Frankenstein, marking the birth of the cyborg. In 2018, we critically examined this theme, looking towards a future of artificial intelligence (A.I.), robotics, and human enhancements.

The festival featured artists and live acts that reflected this theme, offering a glimpse into a world rapidly advancing into A.I. and human augmentation.
