DJ Angst

Dj Angst is an multi disciplinary artist from Halle/Leipzig focusing on the concept of "anxiety driven hedonism". Instead of doing easily consumable music they focus on expressing anxiety, feelings of disorientation and sorrow in order to make the listener rethinking the meanings of these experiences and unleash the transformative power of these emotions. With fast, noisy techno to ear piercing harsh noise, made with a couple of different tape machines and hardware devices, they managed to become a forming part of the international niche techno scene of the last four years.
