Welcome to the future of customer service, where the customer becomes the worker. This satirical installation turns corporate tech culture into an absurd experience. Fuelled by residual Red Bull, cooling systems and self-checkout logic, visitors are gradually transformed from consumers into productive units. Somewhere between corporate wellness, automation and dystopian customer service, the installation asks: who is actually being served?

Netherlands-based artist Varvara Pekhota works with synthetic media, digital infrastructures and the strange glitches hiding inside technological systems. Starting from disbelief, she deliberately misuses and disrupts digital tools to uncover alternative ways of interacting with them. Her practice moves through pixels, protocols, signs and online imagery, creating weird spaces where technology stops behaving as expected and new forms of agency can emerge.
