If France and England were united in a single insane colonial superpower, that would be “Frengland”, a ficitonal historical state conceived by Umar Rashid. He shapes this universe through paintings, maps, and flags, interweaving historical facts with fiction to tell us a story about power, colonialism, race, and identity. Perhaps this fictional world is not so different to our actual history.
