Dolls vs. Dictators (2010)

In the stop-motion film Dolls vs. Dictators, toy figures from American popular culture take on brutal dictators such as Gaddafi, Mugabe, and Kim Jong-il. The dolls use their “special powers” to eliminate the violent rulers one by one.

Martha Colburn is a USA artist and one of the leading voices in experimental film. Her films are the result of a mix process of visual arts, poetry and animation with puppetry, collage and paint on glass.
