This installation lures the viewers into a dopamine-driven relationship. Emulating the attention trap of slot machines, social media, or dating apps, and mixing it with the aesthetics of casinos, arcades, and digital platforms, this cycle of stimulation gradually reveals the capitalist machinery behind our addiction to attention.

[Maria Mombers](https://mariamombers.nl) is a Rotterdam-based multidisciplinary artist and designer exploring how digital culture, advertising, and virtual environments shape identity. By recreating the aesthetics of branded spaces and advertising, she critiques the absurdities of contemporary consumer culture and late-stage capitalism.
