”The drugs of the future will be computers; the computers of the future will be drugs”. American ethnobotanist and psychonaut Terence McKenna (quoted here) advocated for responsible use of naturally occurring plant psychedelics. He spent years studying the basis of shamanism and the means used for spiritual transformation. To his opinion we should reclaim our minds and “get it out of the hands of cultural engineers turning us into half-baked morons, carelessly programmed to consume all the trash that's being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world”. McKenna’s heart cry provides the context for FEED YOUR HEAD.

About

Terence McKenna

Terence McKenna (1946-2000), was a polymath, ethnobotanist, philosopher, public speaker, writer and historian. His degree course at the University of California included ecology, the conservation of natural resources and shamanism but he was also involved in the early days of the rave scene!

He was the intellectual embodiment of psychedelic counterculture and was one of the precursors of the theory on natural visionary plants such as psychedelic mushrooms, ayahuasca and DMT. These led to the exploration of altered states of consciousness which ultimately opened the way to new dimensions of tremendous power and beauty.
